Karen has spent her entire professional career in federal government contracting where she has administered and managed service delivery for large scale, multi-million dollar contracts. She currently provides the strategic direction for the company, prioritizing the need for flexibility, adaptability, and accountability. Prior to starting Insignia, she served in several leadership roles overseeing proposal development, finance and contracts for both small and large government contractors and systems integrators.

Not really advice, but as a new professional, I once overheard a boss say to someone-- "If I have to do it, I don't need you!" Made me realize that I never wanted to be on the receiving end of that statement.
